Full Time Assistant Manager
We are looking for a responsible and highly motivated Full Time Assistant Manager for our Phoenix location who is ready to take on a variety of responsibilities at our fast paced, quickly growing business - from leading our sales team to managing all aspects of our customer service (both in store and online). Our ideal candidate will be fun, friendly, flexible, and ready to become a vital member of our hard-working team. They will constantly strive to meet all sales goals, exceed customer expectations, and be self-motivated to tackle whatever projects come their way.
Job Description
- Full time, 40 hours/week
- Must be available on at least one weekend day (Saturday or Sunday)
- Must stay in town during Thanksgiving/Holiday season
- 2-3+ years retail experience
- Will lead our sales team on the floor and support our corporate team with bigger initiatives
- Looking for a creative, outgoing and thoughtful soul with a willingness to learn in a fast paced environment
- Develops and cultivates strong client relationships by learning names, style preferences, and maintaining ongoing communication with customers
- Works as a team to achieve sales goals
- Establishing customer rapport, building confidence and then helping them make selections by offering sincere assistance, guidance, and style suggestions
- Will lead managing sales contests, VIP promotions and events
- Processes newly received shipments
- Supports our online customer service team by reviewing our return portal requests and processing online returns once received back
- Fulfills online orders as received
- Supports our Senior Buyer with any inventory management
- Performs other duties as needed
Qualifications
- Previous retail experience required
- Outgoing, positive, and approachable demeanor
- Fantastic customer service skills
- Experience in achieving sales goals
- Strong will and determination to reach the established sales goals
- Resourceful and self-motivated to problem solve and complete tasks
- Extreme attention to detail, you can spot an unzipped zipper from a mile away
- Familiarity using POS systems
- Availability to work weekends, holidays, and winter holiday season - store closed major holidays
Pay + Perks
- $35,000-$40,000+ base salary based on previous experience
- Plus 1-2% monthly commission on year over year monthly growth if goals are met - this is a high sales driven position that can potentially earn 10-20% above their base salary if goals are met and bonuses are earned!
